Syd Barrett

I had no idea - found out at Pharyngula.  Syd died last week.  It was only about two weeks ago that I was reading his Wpedia bio, listening to clips, and feeling terribly sorry for him.  Bless him.

All you have to do is listen to some of the stuff he was doing in the mid 60’s to realize that he operated on a different plane than most.

I do not feel sorry for Syd Barrett. He came into the world and hit the son of a bitch with a sledge hammer.

If only there were more like him.
