Nancy Pelosi managed to undermine the subprime lending market, subverted General Motors’ profit structure (though I’m sure their CEO will still get his raise), and generally just wrecked the economy.

If only she would use her mighty powers for good instead of evil.

Why are we NOT taking political advantage of the Dems being in charge of Congress with the economic whoas that are happening?

Every Republican on the Hill should be heading to a microphone to pin this on the Dems. Is there a good explanation as to why we are not?

It took me forever to figure out what a “whoas” was.

Politicians have precious little to do with our economy. They can effect it in some ways (a tax cut or a tax hike certainly has an effect in the short term) but we - the people - are what makes our economic engine hum.
