Truth be told, Edwards' way of talking about it gets under my skin a bit, too... but all anyone has to do is look around at all of the ills of the 21st century and see how many of them have their root in corporate greed, and a message about how to deal with same will start to resonate. 28 years after Reagan and Atwater, the fruits of Friedman's & Rand's philosophies as implemented by the guy are catching up to us in a big, big, way.

Personally, I'll miss someone with a 25K square foot house preaching to me about greed. However, the biggest loss will be that I can no longer look forward to the best nickname in broadcasting history, Edwards' via Limbaugh: the Breck Girl

You go into a voting booth and vote for what you have, not for what you would like to have.

Lotta Dems felt that way in '04, when their hearts said "Dean" but their minds said "he can't beat Bush, but if we vote for Senator Vietnam, we got a chance".

Ricky you would love my brother.

Every time he heard John Edwards say "corporate greed" I would almost have to physically restrain him from picking the television up and throwing it out the window.

I am having more fun this election cycle than I ever have before and I think it is because I would not give you one plug nickel for the entire damned field of candidates.

I'll vote for Ron Paul in the primaries and then probably Cynthia McKinney in the general election.

Personally, I'm glad to see Edwards given what looks to be his final papers as a politician (granted, he could be chosen on some ticket by Hillary or Obama, but why they'd make such a disasterous choice would be maddening). To see what that man has become since his initial campaign for NC senator & morphing into a modern day Huey Long.....glad to see him kicked to the curb. Sorry, alice, but he embodies all that is bad about modern American politics ("vote for me and I'll give you what those other people have"), which both parties have become enamored with. Governing became a second thought, getting & staying elected is at the forefront.

Bravo to the Democratic primary voters.

Great comments so far...I especially liked Bucks' comment about Bill making cookies...great!

The thing is, we just wont have any idea until next Tuesday. I certainly think that Hillary is in damage control mode. She needs to get Bill out of the way and focus on issues. Bill should know...its the economy stupid!

do you think Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh will just suck it up and start gushing praises for their nominee?
Beck, Hannity, Rush, ...all of them will definately have to suck up or admit to eating boiled crow. My main concern is what direction FOX will take once it has to accept that McCain (who will shortly get Giulianis' endorsement)is the front runner. I assume everyone else will fall into line...with the possible exception of Limbaugh. Remember the "America held hostage" tag he used to use on the Clintons? Well...it wont be THAT bad.

How bout the Obama snub at the State of the Union? lol.

To be honest I'm not even sure who I'd vote for yet...there's still a lot of upcoming events that I need to watch before I can make up my mind.

There are a few things I really liked that Bill accomplished during his presidency, but there's something about Hillary that's pushing me away.

She makes it obvious that she's just telling the people what they want to hear, which is what every president does, but she has a sense of desperation in it, or at least to me she does.

I'm more of an independant so I could end up leaning either way.

I think it is a twofer. If you get one you will get them both.

If Bill was able to run would you vote for him over McCain or Romney?

I hope that I will be able to hold my nose and vote for Hillary (if she gets the nom), but to be honest, today I can't really see it. I am so fed up with the Clintons and their divisive politics. They're currently using Karl Rove's playbook, so who's to say they won't govern from there as well?

"If Hillary wins the White House you can bet you will continue to hear from Bill. He certainly is not going to spend his time baking cookies."

So which leads us to a pretty decent question...
Is Bill running or Hillary?
