No Yeaaaagghhh!
I was kind of hoping that would become tradition.

I don’t like Barack Obama. I’ll state that right off.
That said, did you see his daughters on the stage last night? They looked absolutely TERRIFIED. My heart broke for those two girls, especially the younger one.
To me, as the father of two small kids, that was unconscionable.
I thought the girls looked very poised (if they were terrified, they would have been clinging to one parent or the other). I’m quite sure they’re used to it by now.
I thought Barack’s speech was amazing and struck just the right tone for the night. At one point while he was speaking, my daughter commented that he seemed “quite presidential.”
I only saw it on YouTube… & I mostly listened while I read other news… so I missed the daughters. Whether they were frightened or poised, I’m sure they will enjoy watching this in another 20 years. My own dad didn’t ever get on TV… I do remember being scared going into some of the grocery warehouses that he took me to on his bread truck, but I absolutely love those memories now.
Yeah, those grocery warehouses tend to be frightening at times. My dad used to drive me around in a bread truck but he worked for a local diaper company …so I was frightened myself on occasion.
Bill O\’ likened this speach to the late Martin Luther King. Now I dont claim to have even heard a small fraction of the speeches that Obama has given…but shall I dare say…he does seem quite articulate. He\’s very sharp.
Actually, I would assume that Hillary is more scared than Obamas\’daughters would ever be.
Haven’t had an opportunity to listen to his speech yet. Have heard good things about it.
Heard on Imus this morning that the Clinton strategy to fight Obama in South Carolina would be to do some push polling asking voters if they are aware that Obama has two black children.
Now that is my kind of funny.
