Cutcliffe to Duke??
David Cutcliffe going to Duke?
That would be a dream come true for any Bulldog fan.
Man, David Cutcliffe absolutely owns Willie Martinez.
It would suit me to never have to see him again on the football field.

We knew that it would be just a matter or time before someone else would pick him up. Look what he has done with Eric Ainge…and he had a hand with both of the Mannings. I kinda thought he would have replaced Fulmer at UT but we screwed up and won the last 5 games of the season….had we not done that Fulmer may have been out of a job.
I dont know why he would pick Duke though…maybe the money, …certainly not because he thinks he will win a title there. Seems a strange move to me.
If I am not mistaken I believe that we may be losing another coach to…UCLA I think.
Why Ole Miss let that guy go will always be a mystery to me.
Duke will be a laid back kind of job. Man if he can win 4 games a year he can coach there until he wants to quit. They might even name a street after him.
I expect the money won’t be so bad either and there is really no place to go but up.
One thing for sure and for certain. The guy is very good at what he does and Fulmer will suffer next year without him.
I have a father-in-law and a brother-in-law who both bleed orange. They are Volunteer crazy. But they cannot stand Phil Fulmer.
I have never quite understood that but I think it is not all of that uncommon up in yall’s neck of the woods.
tiz a sad day fer tennessee football to lose sumbidy as good as cutcliffe. i wudnt amungst them that wonted to git rid of fulmer n still dont (we had it too good fer too long, but then, i kin member all too well when we wuz losin 12 in a row to bear bryant n dint git much respeck, year after year), witch fulmer changed all that.
chavez coulda gone (seemd to me lack nobidy on the deefents had larnt to tackle the man with the ball!) …
Well, most of the UT defense is actually pretty good…and young. Its the secondary that is pathetic.
One of the things that has made Fulmer good in years past is his ability to recruit…that ability has diminished some over the last few years due to some less than stellar play on the field. Cutcliffe helped them in that regard…
…well so much for that.
Say it ain’t so. I hope they really meant Fulmer.
