271.4

I had really hoped to get to 269.9 before this weigh-in. But alas, it was not to be. Hopefully by the end of the year I can get to 266. I think that was where Jay was when he started his downward trend and Jay is my hero.

But I feel great. I am not really disappointed because I do not feel like I am depriving myself. I have gotten used to my new way of eating and as Ricky said my body has kinda gotten used to the new me.

I know I am supposed to ramp it up a bit but hell, I figure if I can lose a pound a month that is a pound a month. With Thanksgiving just days away just staying even is going to be a chore. My plan is to fill up on the meats and vegetables but stay away from the cakes and pies. We will see how that works out.

I am on my way out the door for a colonoscopy. This is the final stage of my 50 year check up. The tests of my heart turned out wonderfully. If I clear this hurdle I hope to not see another doctor for 10 more years.

But if Kentucky beats Georgia tomorrow I may have to schedule more tests on my heart.

Ya’ll have a good weekend.

Way to go, Buck!

Yeah, baby.

I’m back into my 36s again after this year’s round of dieting. Starting with today’s turkey/dressing, I’m officially in “holiday eating” mode, so I can only hope to maintain until the new year.

Best of luck on the procedure. Keep us updated on your health.

Good news Buck!

I was 268.5 lbs. on the home scale, 272 lbs. at the doctor’s office when I started my diet. My highest recorded weight at the Dr.’s office was 284, so you’re skinnier than I was.

And you’re heading in the right direction…

AS for the holidays, don’t deprive yourself too much - there’s no surer way to encourage “binge eating” than to get all down about the good food you’re missing… Instead, fill up on salads, have smaller portions, and exercise a LOT more…
