I love the rain
It is so nice to see a couple of days of rain. We need it here in North Georgia. Hell we are at the point of a state of emergency.
But I am on my way to Dollywood for a few days and I swear it would have been nice to have had last weeks weather this week. I am not going to bitch and complain too much. After all I am 50 years old not 10. But I was lookin’ forward to bright blue sunny days surrounded by red, orange and yellow leaves. Smellin’ all of that good hickory smoke and hearin’ that wonderful Appalachian music. I know a few clouds and a little rain doesn’t spoil any of that but it does smear the colors of my dream a little bit.
But be that as it may I am on my way out of here.
Georgia versus Florida this weekend. Damn. I dread that one.
