What I Did On My Weekend Vacation
Friday night, the first gig out for The Last Minute Band.
Saturday, Tennessee plays a football game. Didn’t think they knew how. I didn’t see it all, because I wanted to see the Three Sisters Festival, downtown. Specifically, I wanted to see the Lone Mountain Band, The Lovell Sisters & Norman & Nancy Blake. All were good, but the Lovell Sisters were fantastic. I think they could do anything they wanted to. I have some photographic evidence of that visit to share on down the page.
Sunday, Tennessee once again beats Georgia - Atlanta to be specific. Or rather, Atlanta manages not to accept the gifts that the Titans seemed determine to give them. Then the Molly Maguires. Yay!
Ummmm… some much needed work on the flower beds Sunday - a quick game of tennis, wherein I was beaten… and that’s most of it.
The goods:
Wow… I’ve got to do something about that column width - you can’t get pictures up there.
It didn’t take but a few minutes to watch Saturday’s ball game. It was pretty much over before it started.
And judging by the photo’s the music HAD to be good.
Tennessee was a great place to be this weekend……..for a Tennessean.
