Tête-à-Tête-Tête

While Tennessee spends this weekend resting up for the big meeting next Saturday with the Dawgs in Knoxville my guys are butting heads with the Ole Miss Rebels.

I heard a commentator on the radio this morning call them “OLD” Miss. She was not trying to be snarky or funny she just actually assumed it was “OLD” Miss. She must be a PAC-10 transplant.

I am of course hoping that we can put a “W” on the board but this year it is going to be scrape and claw every week. My guys are just not a top tier Division 1 football team due to youth and inexperience but I have been tickled to death with the heart and emotion they have played with. Giving it all you have got is all anybody can do anytime. And that is always enough for me.

So tomorrow at about 1:00 PM I will have the radio turned up and juices flowing. I might even check in with Alice for lunch. That roasted quail was so good for supper last night another helping for lunch tomorrow can’t hurt.
