Bang!
I spent a few minutes checking through some various outlets today. I saw Keith Olberman, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Kos, Atrios, and John Cole all slamming hard on Democrats over the war vote and on ethics.
And I was cheering them on.
If these guys don’t wake up soon, I would hate to be them on the morning after the primary election.
A solid majority of Americans want an end to the bloodshed, and they want the DC swamp drained. It looks like Democrats are no more up to it than the Republicans were. Where do we turn? Ralph Nader? Ross Perot?
Do we need fundamental changes in the system itself, to provide some accountability? Did California get it right with their never-ending ballot initiatives and their recall mechanism? What is it going to take?

Nowhere else to go. And who wants to drain a swamp when that cesspool is the environment in which they thrive?
