In my twenties I looked like I was in my mid-30s & now that I'm 40 I have folks tell me that I look like I'm in my mid-30s (still). Whenever I *do* get carded, I always say the same thing: "God bless you, for making me a least FEEL young". I’ve been carded about 5 or 6 times in my life. For some reason I dreaded it a little more this morning than usual. Maybe it was the wonderful weather we had over the weekend (if you can call 89 degrees on March 24th wonderful) I can't believe this weather will hold up. My daddy told me that he saw a Monarch butterfly this weekend. He said it was the earliest he has ever seen a Monarch butterfly in this neck of the woods. Weather like this makes it hard to take your seat behind a computer screen and take threatening phone calls. But hell. There is a mortgage to pay. Back to the salt mines indeed.
