As a #1 & #4, I don’t particularly care for this post
But, it’s true.
Maybe I should upgrade to #7 - that seems fun.
But seriously - there was a time when I wanted for everyone to read what I wrote. I thought that just perhaps, I would be useful to the world as a megaphone to help compete with the right-wing noise machine. I was so tickled to read Dean’s blog (remember that one? Dean for America or something), making sense when no one else seemed to be… (this was before I really discovered the blogosphere… for all I know others were making plenty of sense, but they didn’t ever get on the TeeVee). I thought the world needed more people making sense, and making it loud.
Ahem..
Since then, I’ve come to learn that anything - sensible or otherwise - that can be said, will be said - somewhere on the internet - more loudly than I could possibly say it, more quickly than I can say it, and better than I can say it.
So, I’ve grown comfortable with the idea that I’m not going to be a big wheel in this business.
But what the heck. Google indexes the site, so there’s no reason to not write. Eventually, someone will find something here via some combination of search terms that they might not have otherwise read. And, it may be helpful.
To those of you who would like to see new posts when you show up here, I apologize. To both of you.
Sorry for all the meta… but don’t be surprised if there is more coming. I’m thinking about some stuff right now.
