Who Is ‘They’?

Bush, open mic:

Later, Bush added that ‘the irony is, what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit, and it’s over,’ though he does not specify who ‘they’ are.

No kidding. Best I can tell is that “they” is the black ops guys who are supposed to be out there dumping Prozac into the drinking water in al-Dahiya.

I love open mics. You’d think the prime mover behind the NSA’s eavesdropping policy, in a public meeting in Russia, would be more careful.

I think the “they” is the United Nations.

As he chats with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bush expresses amazement that it will take Putin and an unidentified leader just as long to fly home to Moscow as it will take him to fly back to Washington. Putin’s reply could not be heard.

“You eight hours? Me too. Russia’s a big country and you’re a big country. Takes him eight hours to fly home. Not Coke, diet Coke. … Russia’s big and so is China. Yo Blair, what’re you doing? Are you leaving,” Bush said

You’ve gotta love it.

Yeah, I think the “they” is the UN.

That is, if they can take time from their busy schedules of passing resolutions condemning Israel and wasting taxpayer money, that is.
