I could have spelled out that he used GOP rhetoric to cast Democrats in a light that would validate winger's accusations of treason and been more accurate. I could have discussed his other sins that led to the strong primary challenge against him. The other sins that led to us "peeing in his cornflakes" (how dare we?). But I was making fun of RS, not building a case against Lieberman. People who have watched Lieberman know what he does, and if I use "call Democrats traitors" as shorthand for what he actually does, they will know what I am talking about. That's pretty harsh, to say the least, & I didn't recall him saying something like that but I admit ignorance on the matter....I'd take away a great deal of respect for the man if he really did that. Nothing came up on a quick google search. Help? BTW, he's going nowhere. There are these same stories every few years about McCain....they're just loving all this press coverage, no doubt.
