A Stephens County deputy has been arrested and charged with a felony for making false statements during the investigation.
I still hope the widow gets every copper penny she is asking for in the lawsuit.

This is more than I expected to come of it. Usually all you can hope for when someone is dead is that the cop gets two weeks paid vacation. I think press coverage had a lot to do with GBI getting involved the way they have.
