My friend is a photographer. His web-site is michaelholbrook.net, but not much of his work is on it yet. He showed me this recent photo he made of his daughter with a butterfly that must be worth a billion dollars. I asked permission to post it here so we can all enjoy it for free and he said yes:

It is probably also worth a billion dollars that you posted the photo on Veteran’s Day. Even a child with a butterfly could symbolize the hope for world peace.
Veteran’s Day … which is Wednesday… Yeah.. My internal calendar is missing some pages, I guess.
I am always in awe of folks who are able to take astonishing pictures. Good camera work is truly a gift. Pictures like that are visual poetry.
