Censoring the Bible
A Virginia jail literally excises – with scissors – Bible passages addressed in letters to inmates from the outside.
The ACLU is on the case.

i have dun herd it all now!
This story makes no sense at all. I can’t figure out the reasoning behind the policy.
And maybe that is because there is no reasoning.
I checked every news account I could find, but couldn’t identify the jail’s rationale for their policy. I’m assuming it is just somebody being a goofball. You see a lot of that in the world. Generally, it doesn’t mean much more than that someone is being a goofball…
The Rutherford Institute and others are working on this:
(I’ll beleive it when I see it. dillmunsell@yahoo.com )
“has demanded that officials at the Rappahannock Regional Jail immediately end their illegal practice of censoring religious material sent to detainees.” ?????????
I’ll belive it when I see it.
ACLU> has demanded that officials at the Rappahannock Regional Jail immediately end their illegal practice of censoring “religious” material sent to detainees.
