Part 2 of Ben Witherington’s tough critique of Ehrman’s latest. I think Witherington goes farther off base in the opposite direction (finding unity and hand-holding harmony between a closely knit Jesus movement closely linked to lines of apostolic authority that textual evidence indicates probably never existed)… but that doesn’t mean the broad strokes don’t include some valid criticism.
