Warren did go out of his way to try to make a prayer that nodded to other faiths when he did the invocation. The issues Mr. Wretched brings up are quite certainly intentional on the part of Warren. And, really, they are reasonably heavy for a conservative (though somewhat useless – I don’t think anyone Muslim is going to be impressed by praying in the name of Isa). Nice gesture, though, I guess.
