		<description>It is true. If the present is pretty much shot to hell then building for the future is not a bad idea.

I know it looks bleak for the Braves but you never know. Of course as you said, the deadline looms.</description>

We were 6 games out yesterday but still playing well under .500 with three teams ahead of us. Its a different story if we only have to pass one team but to play the best ball you have played all season and then hoping the other three teams trip and stumble may be a little much to hope for. I would have no problem waiting longer if not for the July 31st trading deadline.

I would hate to miss out on an opportunity to greatly improve our minor league system.</description>

Given the statements made by Cox I say the best bet is to keep him. And giving up on a season when you are only 4 games out when it is halfway over seems kinda overly gloomy to me.</description>
