smijerHard to believe that a Senator would be talking about the Marine’s mission to the commander in chief. Especially one that ran without ever mentioning the debacle that the CiC has already created there and his desire to see the victims safely home & out of harms way. The kid must be steaming about that. Surely he wants to give up his life for his … ummmmmmm … CiC’s face-saving … Shame on daddy for telling the Emperor-god what everybody’s thinking.

I have a hard time believing a guy like Webb would do that to his son. The last thing a Marine would want is his Dad talking about his mission with the CIC… it would really be degrading.
If you command Marines, the last thing you want is a VIPs kids in your command too.
