Murtha will go on to chair the Defense appropriations committee where he can resume the Clinton era’s Military-Industrial-Congressional cartel Rumsfeld had put asunder. More heavy weapon systems with little practical military value against today’s threats.
Will probably get Alcee Hastings as chair of Intelligence. An impeached and convicted former federal judge who took bribes in a drug case.
There are no ideas or principle left anymore in Amercian Liberalism. It’s a raw payoff of buddies, which is exactly what Pelozi is about here.

Emanuel too is under investigation by the Feds as is our Governor. It’s a real culture of corruption.

Ha…vote for me! I am untainted. Well…except for my socialist tendencies and my love for criminals.
Hmmm…while I don’t like Murtha, I am definitely sold on Hoyer. Hoyer is incredibly tied to K Street and the corporations. He is somewhat proud of his special interest connections.
This may a choice of the lesser evil, but neither of them excite me.
