Labor Day Weekend; My Family Supports Zach Wamp! (Not!)

Hope everyone who got a three day weekend enjoyed all three. I got them & didn’t do so bad.

My kid, the younger stepson, went with his girlfriend’s family to a Barbecue at Zach Wamp’s to kick off election season. He brought back this big magnet (it just fits across the front of the refrigerator):

He also got a tee-shirt and a yard sign. He assured me that he didn’t make any promises about displaying his yard sign in the actual yard. Good man.

My highlight, apart from time spent with the family, was a solitary walk to Coolidge Park, where I happened upon a swing/big-band concert and lots of couples of all ages swing-dancing. I ran into a couple I knew, and had a good old time watching people enjoy themselves doing things I can’t do.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast three day weekends go by.

I spent Monday dreading Tuesday and now will spend the rest of the week looking forward to Friday.

There has to be a better way.

My daughter and her boyfriend also happened upon the swing band event at the park and gave it very positive reviews.

You guys know that the Rocky Top Brigade has you on the at large list and is trying to get some updated information? http://www.rockytopbrigade.org/cleanup/

Yeah, I think I need to fix that… I didn’t realize it, but it makes sense, now that my old feed is defunct.

thanks for the heads up - I couldn’t retrieve an old password there, so I guess I never even signed up again after R Neal dropped the project. It should be fixed now.
